Canadians eager to ease some of the strain of the CDN/US exchange rate have only to look at some of the current offers for Canadians visiting Orlando. With discounts on everything from accommodations to tickets there are lots of deals to be had, if you take the time to plan and research.

Disney World Resort
Disney is currently offering a special Canadian-resident 4-day base ticket for $316 (USD). This ticket, which allows entry into one park per day, must be purchased by March 15, 2019 and used by September 27, 2019. There is the option of purchasing additional days and/or the park hopper option, which allows entry into multiple parks on a single day. It is also possible to combine this ticket discount with the current (limited) Free Dining promotion, although this must be done by phone not through the online reservation system.
Universal Orlando Resort
Universal doesn't have any ticket-only offers for Canadians at the moment, but it does have a great vacation package deal (see below). Also, if you have enough Airmiles points, you can redeem them for park tickets as well.
Seaworld
Seaworld often has excellent deals for Canadian visitors. Currently, they are offering a $79 one day ticket and a $99 two day ticket, with the option of adding on all-day dining for another $30 (an especially good deal on the two-day ticket). As the two-day ticket can be used either at Seaworld for two days, or one day each at Seaworld and Aquatica, this deal really stands out.

The trick with vacation packages is being very careful about what you actually need to be included. Obviously, if you only want to visit the parks for two days, but are planning to stay three nights, the included four-day tickets won't be a real savings for you. Assuming you need and will use the included pieces, however, there are some good deals for Canadians to be had.
Disney World Resort
Disney does not have a current package deal aimed specifically at Canadians, but it does have a free-dining offer that can be combined with the Canadian ticket pricing. Rooms in the free-dining offer go quickly, so if you want to take advantage of the offer you'll need to book as soon as possible.
Universal Orlando Resort
Universal is offering a five-night special, which includes accommodations and 4-day park tickets. The prices vary depending on where you are staying but can be as low as $79 per person, per night (based on 4-person occupancy). The best option, particularly if you are planning to visit the new Volcano Bay park, is either the Cabana Bay Resort or the new Adventura Hotel, which has very reasonably priced family suites.
Costco Travel
Canadian Costco members should also visit the Costco travel site, as they offer some exclusive savings on packages that include flights, tickets, and accommodations, and often include a percentage of the vacation price back in a Costco gift card.

Accommodations
Many properties offer good rates through Canadian travel agents, especially if you are able to book and pay in advance. Another way to save money is to use travel reward points. For example, your Marriott rewards points are of equal value whether redeemed in Canada or America, so the exchange rate becomes a non-issue. They can be especially good value as many hotels in Orlando offer either point-saver rates or 4th-night free options, so your points can go a lot further than you might think.
